I installed Messenger Plus ver 3.63 to upgrade MSN messenger 7.5 on Windows XP. The next morning a dialog box popped up headed "Messenger Plus Recovery". I was worried the message was a virus so I closed it rather than running it. Now when I try to access the internet on my account I cannot. Under the other accounts on the same computer the internet can be accessed. What do I do and what has happened?

Well that happened to me and i was told the only thing you can do is try to delete and then install it again. or for £50- $75.52 take it to pc-world to get fixed!

And, adding to his answer, will not stop you from connecting to the internet.
Please try uninstalling it, downloading it again from msgpluslive.net, and reinstalling[to fix the plus problem], Although i doubt this problem is plus related...
