I can't change my nickname all of a sudden :( - Printable Version

So, I r-click on on my nickname but ...nothing shows up.

I go into Tools/Options but later get an Error Msg. There's a button to "Debug" but nothing is solved.

Please help.

Try an e-messenger like http://webmessenger.msn.com or http://www.ebuddy.com. If that works fine then try reinstalling WLM

I dont think MP!L has anything to do with this is until it only happens with Plus!.

I un/and then reinstalled Messenger 7.5. Still nothing. Options or clicking personal settings too do nothing. I just hear a little sound (like a block)
I tried ebuddy but it's not the same. I don't like it for a few reasons...but I can have my name appear differently while on it.

This is so annoying. :( Any other suggestions?

Are you using Plus!? Try the /nick command in an conversation windows to change your name?

To use /nick

  • Open an anonymous conversation windows
  • Type /nick followed by a space and the the desired nickname
  • Press Enter.
