This is apparently included in MessengerDiscovery Live, but i thought it would be nice to have as a lone script for Plus! if possible.

your contact starts typing a message to you (after the first initial msg to you) and you mimic their 'user is typing a message' as they type, so it looks like you are about to type something as well.

perhaps include some type of delay, like monitor how long they 'type' for in the msg, and your 'typing' message will last the same amount of time or double or triple...

anyone up for making that?

you'd need direct access to the protocol for this. unless you decide to do it by actually typing in the edit box (make the script type a space, delete it, type a space, etc)...but that would be impractical

You would only need one space in the EditText, and it will count as if you are typing..., only when the EditText is empty you won't get a message

But I don't know how you would know if the contact is typing, so I can't help you with it
