Hi Everyone,

Please help with your opinions and suggestion for sites offering free file hosting of all types. The ones where they let you register, keep your files and forward the links to other friends as well.

I used the following but they are not appealing:

Please recommend if you know any better ones.

www.filefactory.com is good thats my best choice.

*-) filefactory is slow and doesnt work couple of times. My sharebox is way too simple. Isnt there any site which gives you statistics about how many times the files downloaded and to store files for sometime like in an inbox.

For what it's worth: i offer temporary storing of files on my website..auto deletion after 30 days. All at no cost and no registration. For security reasons i do not accept all file types.

Thanks sunshine!! what about uploading mp3 and real media files?

Aslong as you zip them ;)

I distance myself from anything that's onthere and i do not check up on whats inside archived files so ehmmm......

It's not to be seen as a warez or p2p site...

Thanks again .. it can be used in emergency .. Box and Savefile are good..

However, BOX has a lousy upload .. I used the drag feature which requires Java machine and works fine. The normal upload hangs most of the time.

Savefile is better :)

Yep, that's how i ment it...a little bit of extra service for forum members ;)

My site isn't that well known outside this community anyway...
