Hi im new to the internet. I have installed windows live messenger and plus but i cant get them to work together any ideas?

what version of windows are you using?
Any security programs with firewalls ?
Could you tell us extactly step by step what you did as you installed the programs?
order you installed them in?
Where you installed them from?

download the new Plus Live Version, probably you have 3.6,
dowload it from www.msgpluslive.net, install it, and it should work
all of this assuming you had 7.5 and plus 3.6 as it was not specified.

what build of windows live messenger do you use? what version of messenger plus live are you using?
