It's been a few days now and I still cannot see my contacts display pictures. I have re-installed messenger a few times but have had no luck. I can see my own display picture. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks.

Go to Tools > Options > General > Displaying My Contacts and tick Show display pictures from others.
If that doesn't help i think you are using Zone Alarm
