just wondering why /me action .. is sometimes in bold & sometimes not? in my own contact window.
& apparently its not bold at all in the contacts window that im talking to

Yes thats true if your font is bold, the first time when you send a /me command it isnt bold but when you send it it for the second time before someone replies it gets bold and so on. But if someone replies between the two /me commands they appear to be simple.

i guess its just to shorten the look of the text entered in your own window?
