when I put formatting into my display name, I use ·$ for colour, and ·# for bold.  What would you do to get italic?

It's a much much easier way to do it, instead of having to add them nasty codes every time.

Also, in Messenger Plus! Live, you no longer need to use the old code your using. There is a much easier way, called BBCode.

Here's an example:
