I think more people will use the Ping! feature and make it more useful if it can display other information such as, but not limited to:
- Messenger Program and Version;
- Messenger Plus! Version; and
- perphaps what Scripts/ Plug-ins are being used and which version.
i.e.,
SonicSpam (8:46 PM): Ping!
NagamasaAzai (8:46 PM): Pong! I'm using Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0812 with Messenger Plus! Live 4.0.1.240!

Well, if you tell your contact to send "(!VER)" it'll send the OS, Messenger build, and Plus! build.
