I have a problem with my chatlogs. I cannot seem to be able to encypt them with a password. Everytime I try, I recieve the message 'the cryptographic key cannot be generated on this computer' This baffles me because when I initially downloaded Messenger Plus! live, this feature worked perfectly fine on my computer. How do I get it back?

What, there's no one who can be bothered to help? For one thing you have to join a forum to make your problem known, the live chat doesn't work- Wouldn't it be just easier to have a direct technical support address you can mail to, like msn?

Also what are you trying to put as your password, I.E. does it contain any strange or uncommon characters?

Same problem with me, my machine is xp sp2, clean installation with full updates.
In "logs encryption" option, i get the error: "sorry, the cryptographic key could not be generated on this computer"
please help us.
