Ive searched this forum but couldnt find any useful threads

ive asked most of the contacts on my list and noone seems to know how to send custom sounds in a conversation
im using:
Windows XP Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.00.0812
Messenger Plus! Live 4.01.0.240
does it have something to do with the sound library?

The links weren't dead, they were moved since Messenger Plus! Live was released. However the info contained in them are still perfectly valid for Plus!3 (and even Plus!Live in many cases, although the menu options might have changed) and many users of today.

How to use it can be found on the links above (note: some menu options and images can be different since those tutorials are for Plus!3. But the overall method stays exactly the same).
