I have a serious Windows Live Messenger problem. I have build 8.0.0812. It signs-out by itself constantly. I have a good Internet connection and it never disconnects. The problem is with MSN only. I have Messenger Plus! Live and Mess Patch Generation 5 as well. What can I do??? My brother uses MSN Messenger 7.5 on the same system and it have the same problem but not so serious as mine. Do not tell me to remove Messenger Plus! Live or Mess Patch because I have been using them for ages before the problem started. Sometimes a dialogue box pops up telling me that Windows Live Messenger has encontered a problem and needs to close. It also asks me to send or not send an error report. I click do not send and MSN signs out. Please help me!!

The wlm give a error code???

Thats are problems of the messenger servers, dont work well sometimes, but if you change the servers, maybe fixed the problem ( search for a program like that and can change servers of messenger)

Application fail
Try uninstall, reebot and reinstall of the programs
might work :s

remove the mess patch,  see if that helps

Try deleting every program that may be causing problems..

Uninstall and leave no trace. Then download (So you use a fresh installer) and then Reinstall again :)

No, it does not give me an error code. It just signs-out and the next time I try to sign-in again it signs-in normally. Should I try to change the servers even if it does not give me an error code? This problem does not occur everytime. Sometimes I spend an hour on MSN and it occurs 3 times and sometimes I spend 2.5 hours and it occurs for 1 time or does not occur at all!!

Dear Panachiba,
I found a program named Muon (v1.2) which allows you to change the MSN Server ( IP Address ) you want to connect to before signing-in. After you close Messenger, the IP is reset to the default one specified by the program so you have to change it everytime you want to login in using a different server. I hope it works and keep me connected to MSN!!! I will post a reply in a few days telling you its success or failure! Bye and 10x for the idea ;).

The few times I tried to change the server it was for nothing :@ , now I am using MSN Messenger 7.5 with Messenger Plus! 3.63 to see if the problem reduces. While I am writing this message, 7.5 has just disconnected. I think MSN is going down (N) in hours, some of my contacts meet this problem sometimes too!!
