Go to RE: some security problem? by roxelana on 09-21-2006 at 08:33 AM Thank you. I already did the things you tell. But this is not what I want. I want this : When I started MSN, I enter my e-mail address and my MSN password, that's OK till now. But what I want is -> after this monotone stuff, I want MSN Messenger Plus to ask me a password to save the conversations. Because this used to be the way until I installed Windows Live Messenger and Plus. I said I used to use MSN 7.0 and Plus for it. RE: some security problem? by RaceProUK on 09-21-2006 at 11:42 AM

quote:yes, but as RaceProUk said, Messenger Plus! has never done that. Once you've set your password for log encryption it is remembered for that account. This was so in Messenger Plus! 3 and is still so in Messenger Plus! Live. Also, entering a password for the log encryption (like asked) is actually a bit useless since you need to log in to messenger first anyways, with the messenger login and password. In other words, if people don't know the messenger login and password they also will not be able to read the logs or save stuff to the logs. |
