will the usb cable I have for my digital camera work? the motorola phone tools don't work with installing games

as long as it is a mini usb (not the strange nikon one).

I hate the Motorola Phone Tools. Would never work with my Motorola.

i upload games to my motorola V3 using a USB Bluetooth stick.
i tried many times with the usb cable and tons of programs and never get to work.

have you tried moto midman (midlet manager)? and did u install all drivers? and did you change to data/fax transfer on phone?

In order to upload games to a V3 via Mini USB, you need to enable a "Java App Loader" under your Java Settings on your phone. In order to do so, you need PST. The program needed to upload the games (in .jar/.jad files) is called Midway 2.8. A full guide on how to do this can be found here.
