The main for me to download Messenger Plus was just because of the Lock MEssenger Feature.. RE: Professionals to answer plzz by user27089 on 09-27-2006 at 07:00 PM
Well, what you could do is have the Windows Live Messenger system tray icon on hide (right click the taskbar > properties, then press "Customize" next to where it says "hide inactive icons", where it says "Windows Live Messenger" press the dropdown box and choose "always hide". RE: Professionals to answer plzz by kooldudeVsME on 09-27-2006 at 07:27 PM thr is no customize Tab in Live MEssenger... thr is no option of hiding it RE: Professionals to answer plzz by matty on 09-27-2006 at 07:34 PM CookieRevised created a script to remove the icon from the system tray however it will not work to allow you to add the icon back so its not really possible. quote:perfectly possible. See below... quote:The code snippets do allow for it though (but the script is so basic that I didn't included the searching for the proper icons. In other words, an icon will be placed back, but it is the one from the hidden main window. This will only happen when the user is signed out though, otherwise, the proper icon will be placed back). kooldudeVsME, for further questions related to this request, see the thread "How to write code that hides system tray icon" as what is requested there is exactly the same as what you want (always search forums first )...
