Hi, i have been on forums lately and i saw they were being hosted by something called MyBB.
So, i decided to give it a go myself, but.. i downloaded it.. and it all seems confusing 
So, can anyone offer a link or a written tutorial on how to make a MyBB forum?

That would be an apt place to ask. And fyi, we arent being "hosted" by MyBB, we are running it
