hey. don't think anything like this exist, searched the scriptdb & the forum, so don't shoot me if i missed it
situation:
-my contact are arranged in about 8 different groups
-my offline contacts are gathered in the "offline" group (default msn option)
-most of the time, at least one group is empty because everybody is offline
-my screen is to small to put it in 1600xsomething, hehe
what i'd love:
a script that auto-hides a group when everybody in it is offline.
does it exist? can it be done?

plus doesnt have any way of getting to groups atm but patchou is working on it i believe.
so no not atm is this possable. i hope this helps

that's nice to hear. was already checking out the script doc but there's no "group" object, so i was kinda stuck.

anything to help others out 
and if there was a group object then many many many scripts would have been made
ps next time try searching the script forum (main points, yours were "group" and "hide" i guess) for this because it has been asked in different form any times
