I read a little about writing a script o r finding a way that will let you check if a live messenger contact is in "appear offline" status. I know a lot of people say its not possible. However, I heard of others who say it can be done. I know there's a couple block checkers that actually work, but I have been unable to find an "offline status" checker yet. Does anyone have any info??

I for one still have All Others on my Allow list - so claerly they'll still work *some* of the time.

Yes, but it's not a 100% reliable foolproof method.
For instance, I have 'All Others' on the Block List, so block checkers won't work on me.

It all depends on if the person has taken the time to disallow 'all others'
