I can log in ok but can't send ANY messages.

I got it for one person just now, but its working now, have you restarted WLM?

yes I did and just came back as undiliverable

Confirmed with 8 contacts . Someone on IRC has the same problem

Yup, same here, was about to ask the same question. Sucky. Restarted twice, too!

i now don't get the error messages... but they aren't delivered either...

i did get the error messages... it just toke a little longer...

WLM have confirmed system error in the Service Status section now.

I have the same problem. Login works fine, I can see my contacts online, I can see people getting online. I can go to my mail. But I can't send any messages out...???

The all come back with the message "The following message could not be delivered to all recipients"

Ironically, I got such a problem really late at night only.

MSN servers are having severe issues at the moment. everyone has this problem.

I'm using Yahoo! Messenger With Voice to send/recieve messages to/from WLM users, and it works.

I sent a message earlier to a contact and I got a return saying it couldn't be delivered. For some reason it was OK with another contact though. Not sure about now. Some of my contacts have changed their names saying they're having problems.

Windows live messenger has allways been dodgy.. i wonder if this has anything to do with the mess.be hack code?

I'm having the problem too.

Things don't always work, that's life. For me what's even more frustrating than not being able to communicate is how long MSN takes to give me the "the following message could not be sent..." message. For instance earlier I typed a message at 5:21, and received the notification at 5:36.

I've been trying to talk to several of my contacts for the past two hours, and no luck.

Like what Sunshine said, it appears to be working now within the last few minutes, thankfully.

EDIT: Well, the pinging works now, but it still takes a little while to receive it.

Yeah I'm having a few troubles too but I'm still not 100% sure if it has to do with me resetting my modem or whether it is Messenger.

WTF?? Its 7:30 in the morning!!

I have had this problem off and on since I downloaded and installed....WLM 8.  Yesterday it drove me insane, my best friend and I tried to talk to each other on MSN...but all day it gave us that message that the message could not be delivered to all recipients.  We got maybe 5 lines into each other the whole day (out of probably about 50).  We ended up using email to explain it to one another.  It was very annoying...we ended up downloading yahoo...problem solved.  I've used msn for years....but a month of - off and on - not being able to answer someone of not being able to carry on a half decient conversation is a little much.  I have been reading through help and doing searches through google.  There is no help for this problem.

I have not been able to connect since yesterday morning.  Others in the office seem to be ok. 

Any chance that the recent problems could be showing up on only one PC on the same network and same Internet connection?
