My account has suddenly gone into some locked mode. it's asking for a password but I have no clue what mine is. what do I do?

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and end msnmsgr.exe, then reopen MSN, you will have to sign in again though.

After you follow Daz's instructions, check your Plus! preferences to disable the lock or change your password.
