I can't change nick while online with messenger, just activated my gmail account to work with messenger. The bar is grey and nick is like friggin chinese symbols, can someone help me, didnt have time to search sorry for that, had to go and want this to work when i get home. >.<

OK have you verified your email address? Once your register your account with a Windows Live ID/.NET Passport you usually need to verify the email address through a link they send to your email inbox.

I would check that has been done and if the problem still continues, if you have Messenger PLus! Live installed, try removing that and see if the problem is still therr.

If that doesn't help perhaps contacting Microsoft about it and see what they can do.
