Nope, but iirc they can view users ip addresses and have access to some private forums

1. Anyone can view each others IP on IRC.
2. -m is a parameter to open the server in a new window when using mIRC.


Back on topic, afaik, elites are members who have contributed to the community. They have no real special priviledges although they have access to a special forum :)

Elite status is purely forum related BTW, has got nothing todo with IRC.

And its been months since the last post in the private forum too :).

"Secret" forums are for the beta testers and elite members etc

You don't have to be an Elite Member to be able to see the Sound Moderator forum.
You can see it as long as you are a sound moderator. :P
