I'm using WLM 8.0.0792.00. I was using plus live 4.10. RE: Cannot use "/psm" script by Menthix on 11-30-2006 at 10:30 AM "/psm" is an internal command from Plus!, not a script. RE: Cannot use "/psm" script by Salem on 11-30-2006 at 02:30 PM
quote: Yes, as MenthiX mentioned that "/psm" command is part of MessengerPlus! Live, its is not a script that needs to be enabled separately. What exactly do you mean when you say you can't sign in normally when using "/psm" but you can when you don't? What do you mean by "using" it? The /psm command is used as a quick way to set you PSM (Personal Status Message, the message below your nickname in the contact list window) from within the conversation window. An example of the use would be to type: code:into a conversation with someone So, typing code:would change your Personal Status Message to display the text code: As this command is used through the conversation window, you need to be already signed-in to the Messenger service in order to use it (as Windows Live Messenger does not allow you to type text into a conversation window while not signed-in). Hope this helps. If it doesn't let us know and we'll try and help you out. ~Salem RE: Cannot use "/psm" script by TheAir on 12-01-2006 at 02:54 AM
Well RE: RE: Cannot use "/psm" script by Salem on 12-01-2006 at 08:49 AM
quote: Oh ok, now i understand. Just give me a minute while i try to reproduce it here. EDIT: I've just tried it, and can confirm that i too was signed out of Messenger as soon as i hit the Enter key. However, i was able to sign-in again without any problems. My test was with MP!L formatting set to IRC style formating. If the Formatting style is changed to BBCode it works fine and doesn't sign you out of Messenger once you've changed it. If you'd like to change the formatting style to BBCode do the following: code: Things should now be fixed. There is a downside however to using the BBCode format codes. This method will not display formatting (bold, italics, underline, colours etc.) to users with MessengerPlus! 3 or lower. It'll only be displayed to those using MessengerPlus! Live (ie. version 4) or above) ~Salem RE: Cannot use "/psm" script by TheAir on 12-01-2006 at 09:48 AM
