I'm using the new version of Messenger Plus for windows live messenger...I was just wondering where the chat logs are stored on the hard drive? I can access them when I'm signed into msn, but is there a way of looking at them when msn isn't open?

They're normally stored in the 'My documents' folder. Look there. I can't give you the full path because i use a german winxp 
but I hope I could help you a bit.

Ahh...silly me! I didn't realise I had a december 2006 folder, and was wondering why all my other ones stopped when I installed the new Messenger Plus.

You can always check the chat logs location from Plus! > Preferences > Conversations > Chat Logging
