My MSN was working fine an hour or so ago.  Now I can't send messages to anyone and I can't receive theirs.  When I close Messenger these error boxes come up saying "unable to start a conversation with X".  I've shut down the computer, tried using e-messenger and dMSN messenger but no luck. 

Anybody else having problems?

Yeah me. I just wrote a message and sent it. Then the box came up... 5mins later . Now I cant' send messages to anybody. Always the same. But why does it come up 5 mins later??

I don't know when it started here but when I went for diner and came back I had some convos open. I clicked in the taskbar and WLM freezed. Then I opened it again, had a look at the message log thingy (Nachrichtenverlauf) and wanted to reply. 5ins later i get a box .

I'm also in the UK but I have friends over here who aren't having problems.

Last time I checked though, MSN's service status said all was well.

I think there are server issues (again ). Since WLM such things happen at least 10x/week .

UPDATE: Mine is working again now, I signed into Web Messenger, and then back into WLM and it seems to be working. (UK)

im talking to 1person now, but some others are listening to a song for 1 hour until now, not completely solved yet. Signed out too

Update: I can't change my status . When i want it to be online or whatever I keep being 'Busy'. WTF is going on??

well, I wanted to chat with my GF by MSN, we saw eachother appear online, but when we wrote messages to eachother we didn't get them, so we called eachother, told eachother when we wrote something, but didn't receive anything

Just before she went offline, I received all the messages from everybody

yeaa well its happening today in Montreal... i cant send or receive Messages, when i do send a message it says something like 'the following message could not be sent to all recipients'...I have windows live messenger, along with plus!

I try to sign on to EBuddy and Web Messenger, and even on Windows Messenger... i get to sign in but cant send messages to anyone. It might take like 5 minutes and then 'the following message could not be sent to all recipients' appears.

Anyone know why? can it be just msn servers having problems?
