Computer sooo slow why? by Steven on 01-01-2007 at 04:56 PM
Hey. My IBM laptop is getting annoying, and i really want to know why. I always see people's specs and ram stuff in their sig.. My laptop is very slow, when opening programs and stuff, so i was wondering a site that will do some kind of scanning, then display your stats and like specs and memory, and proccesser, then i would paste it here , and maybe one of you readers would see and post why my laptop is slow? Sorry for my english, its winter break
EDIT: Not looking for an antivirus program, just a website that will display my laptops specs and memory and ram and stuff, so then you guys would be like
"lol slow" And explain what i need to get, or buy.
Here it is

A website can't show you that stuff. You need a (benchmark/spec) program for that:
CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.org/cpuz.php
PC-WIZARD: http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php
EVEREST: http://www.lavalys.com/
WCPUID/XCPUID: http://www.h-oda.com/

RE: Computer sooo slow why? by Steven on 01-01-2007 at 05:44 PM
Should i buy more RAM?
RE: Computer sooo slow why? by Supersonicdarky on 01-01-2007 at 05:46 PM
it would be easier to buy a new laptop, cuz a laptop with a cpu of less than 1 ghz isnt worth buying ram for
if u can get some free or really cheap ram, then go ahead and upgrade
