I got a samsung D900 and its a 3mp camera and it came with a usb cable and software (drivers, multi-media, phonebook manager).

Is there anyway to make my phone a webcam with software or somthing?

Can you update you phone like with software.

1. Should be possible, but it depends.

2. Yes it is, you can do it yourself, or get a retailer to do it for you. (you can accedetially smash it and then get it reapired for free, and then they will always add the newest firmware. :cheesy:)

Nah,
Dont break it,
do what i did xD

step 1.)
go to whatever site and download loads of games e.g 800.
step 2.)
put all of these games in the folder other.
step 3.)
turn off phone then turn it back on.
step 4.)
it will not load it will crash.
step 5.)
send it in and get the newest firmware xD

tested on SE :P

Why do this, having to wait for days for your phone to arrive, when you could just use SEUS which takes about half an hour? :P

And, what phone was it?
You probably could have recovered it by yourself... :P

I have a program to allow Motorola Phones to be used as a webcam. However, I have not tested it (it reportedly works) and I am unsure if it is compatible with Samsung phones. If you want to see the program i'll let you know the site just pm me (the site its from is in Russian, which I do not speak). May not be of much help but :^).

becuase i couldnt even connect it too my pc :rofl:
and i fucked up the whole firmware :)

AND i couldnt connect it too my pc because when you starrted the phone it would turn off again :P

oh SE w550i - which i smashed becuase i used it as a rugby ball :P
