Hey ok im sure im in the wrong place but ill ask anyway on the offchance i am in right place!
My msn messenger live wont sign me in, i click on icon to open messenger page and put in my details and click sign in   what happens then is straight away i get up that error message, you know the one 'an error has occured and we must shut down', im stumped as to what to do, cause it does let me sign in every 10th try or something like that then i get error message again. now i think i have a virus on the laptop but im sure i got rid of it, im using mcafree program, but even since i got that virus msn wont open for me, yet i have unistalled bout programs and cleaned my laptop of all junk and virus crap! please help me as im sure im doing something wrong and maybe it is a firewall program???????????? any help you can give me would be great

OK does it do the same with Messenger Plus! installed?

Do you have sweetim or smiley central installed?

Do you have any patches like mess patch installed?

Do you have something like Windows Live One Care installed?
