I have windows live messenger, and Messenger Plus. I used to be able to encrypt my chat logs about 4 months ago. But I got rid of Messenger Plus for a while, then re-installed it. HOWEVER, now when I try to enter a password for the encrypted files it gives me a pop up saying "Sorry the cryptographic key could not be generated on this computer."
Does anyone know why? Or how to fix this?

It provides other threads like it and a few helpful tips.
