Proxy sites by plus on 01-26-2007 at 07:13 PM

When i am in school on the computers most sites is filtered :(
It uses somthing called RM saftey filter to block sites, bebo, youtube e.c.t.
If i was wanting to go on the blocked site i would have to go on a proxy/bypass site to go on them, by going on the site then typing in the url into a box and then it will display the site.

The latest one was www.bombproxy.com but that was blocked.

Dose anybody have this filter and know any sites?

I know google but the ones on there are blocked.

Thanks :p i always do  :P

You can find many proxies, but like at our school websites are monitored and they will be blocked very soon :P.

Thats the same here, but we hack out network (shhhhh) Then delete
the history. And it works! My school has not got a good firewall....lol

The also monitor who emails (pedos) and read them. But we encrypted them. :p

We used to do that, but the school caught on, and we no longer can use Firefox on the system :P.

Deleting histories in your browser doesn't mean anything. They have logs on their internet proxy which they can look at whenever. (And no, such logs cannot be deleted as they are read-only (well, correct technical term here is locked for writing... Only the proxy server itself has write access) [Worked in such environments before])).

To be more specific:
Your school has a/some servers and when ever you request a website it goes through a gateway (router) then goes to a server. Your server will log everything you do whether it be on a laptop, school pc. The admins will ususally go through the logs once every 6 months (if they do it manually):P

Put it this way last year i had someone do remote desktop with me and I only got found out 4 weeks ago :P

In a school network, they usualy check the logs each day and have a bunch of triggers which send a notice to the admins when triggered. (Like stated above, I've worked in setuping such environments before).

Wouldn't that be alot to go through?

RE: Proxy sites by Nathan on 01-26-2007 at 10:49 PM

They'd search the file :) for specific categories keywords etc...

You still so sure?

RE: Proxy sites by plus on 01-26-2007 at 11:15 PM

Yes not the user history

RE: Proxy sites by FineWolf on 01-26-2007 at 11:16 PM

You still can't delete the file... It is locked for writing by the proxy server itself. No editing, no deletion.
