1) background music/sounds suck RE: My Bright Corner: Help! by Nagamasa on 02-02-2007 at 09:46 PM
quote:What do you mean? quote:Its not even working even on the shorter pages such at Cool Stuff (coolstuff.htm) quote:Well its not the text thats misaligned, but the entire site shifts 2mm leftwards on those pages. Compare hwk redir.htm and index.htm with index.htm and map.html quote:Right now, I need to refresh in order to see the updates. So is there a way for it to automatically refresh the page? RE: My Bright Corner: Help! by xJ + on 02-03-2007 at 02:07 PM
I agree with SSD that you used too many colors. Limit yourself to only two or less colors would be better. Why do I always get redirected to this link? quote:Always remember, Google is your friend (: Here are two links for you: http://www.tutorialstream.com/tutorials/phpmysql/...atic-page-refresh/ http://javascript.internet.com/page-details/refre...e---automatic.html RE: My Bright Corner: Help! by Zahid™ on 02-03-2007 at 05:04 PM Change the headers, and isn't this counted as advertising? RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-03-2007 at 07:08 PM
quote:What do you and SSD mean by colours??? quote:Thats what I mean by the embed sounds not working in IE6... quote:No not really, cause I'm asking for help for my website (sort of like SonicSam.net new design). Though I changed the header nevertheless. RE: Website Help by xJ + on 02-04-2007 at 03:45 AM
quote:Your colors - Red, Yellow, White, Blue, Black, etc. Limit it to at least two or less colors. quote:I'm using windows vista IE 7 -.- RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-05-2007 at 12:28 PM
quote:IE 7 on XP works fine I decided that I'm gonna take out the sound effects. But these questions still need to be solved: quote: RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-09-2007 at 10:13 PM
bump RE: Website Help by Sunshine on 02-09-2007 at 11:15 PM
Why are you forcing reload? I personally don't like the flashing of that... RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-09-2007 at 11:18 PM
quote:So that people have an up-to-date version of site cached. quote:They're just there. I dont even read them myself, and there isnt anything important there. RE: Website Help by Sunshine on 02-09-2007 at 11:22 PM
ppl know how to refresh... RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-09-2007 at 11:39 PM
quote:Code obtained. I will update as soon as I get to it. Though, I am looking for a reasoning for this. quote: RE: Website Help by Sunshine on 02-09-2007 at 11:54 PM It would help if you told wich pages. Also it's fairly impossible to make a site look exactly the same in all browsers as the rendering is different (feel free to compare my site in various browsers and you will notice slight differences even tho i try to make them as cross-browser compatible as possible). Just make sure the tags are nested properly and play with margins if you have to. I just converted my site from a table layout to a div layout (with minor design difference) and had quite a few problems with the rendering differences too (i designed my own, not used a template or a fancy designing program). RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-10-2007 at 12:03 AM
quote:No, I mean that in Mozilla Firefox, pages shift. Compare school and index and information, and you see it move...it looks ugly... Sorry for making you confused! RE: Website Help by Rolando on 02-10-2007 at 12:05 AM You should make the Pictures link open in a new window, naga. RE: Website Help by Eddie on 02-10-2007 at 03:29 AM
quote:yes i agree, and also links should also open in a new window, well i think it would work better that way otherwise its great in my opinion. Edit: 800 Posts RE: Website Help by Sunshine on 02-10-2007 at 11:42 AM
quote:I see what you mean now, the header images aren't at the same hight on all pages. They move in IE too..theres also something wrong with the image on the School page (in IE, a white line). Index code:all other pages code:See the difference? RE: Website Help by hmaster on 02-10-2007 at 12:43 PM The whole refresh thing is really annoying. You could use the .php extension which would resolve the cache issues . RE: Website Help by Nagamasa on 02-10-2007 at 03:42 PM
quote:Done! quote:Too noob to do it...unless someone wants to do it for me. quote:I know that...but thats because I modified it on Wednesday...and this was happening before that...I'll fix it. quote:I'll see what I can do with the images...but cant I stretch/shrink it to a height desired? quote:Appearing fine in Firefox. EDIT: I need help with the javascript coding, as I cannot get the Contact Me button the same as the other 2 links... |
