Is there an option or something that can do that? RE: Is it possible for WLM to not uninstall all scripts when PC crashs? by Menthix on 02-03-2007 at 11:27 PM
I don't see a reason why Plus! scripts could disappear (ever time) after a system crash. They should just stay there and be ready to use after a crash. So what is exactly your problem? Are you saying the files disappear from your system when Counterstrike crashes your PC? quote:As Menthix said, script files will not dissapear if Messenger crashes, if that was what you meant. The 'worsed' that can happen is that Messenger crashes and that Plus! automatically disable all scripts, if that was what you meant. This is done for safety measurements. But also note that this will only be done if Messenger crashes, not if another program crashes. As Menthix suggested it is best to fix the actual error instead of working around this disabling of scripts.... As for turning off the auto-disabling of scripts after a Messenger crash, yes this is possible. However, use it at your own risk!: Go to the registry and add the REG_DWORD key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live\your_msn_mail\Preferences\EnableScriptProtection and set its value to 0. RE: Is it possible for WLM to not uninstall all scripts when PC crashs? by rainbow on 02-04-2007 at 06:19 PM
