Hello All, im getting ready to do a fair bit of site updating, and i need a decent FTP Program that works well and pretty easy to use, can anybody advise some good free FTP Programs?

Try SmartFTP. Thats what i use .

More than 20 free FTP programs .
I personally always use FlashFXP, but that isn't free.

While you are away from your computer you can use Net2FTP. It is quite easy to use (and you can always upload a copy of it onto your host as well).
EDIT: sorry shadow, I forgot the "www." which it needed

Click on Preferences
In the General tab under File View
Check the box which says "Show Hidden Files".
