RE: Peer Mediation by Nagamasa on 02-20-2007 at 10:30 PM Its basically the same thing, but its your schoolmates that you mediate, rather than some 40 year-old virgin. that is just retarted imo RE: Peer Mediation by Discrate on 02-20-2007 at 11:32 PM Most schools in Australia are starting to make classes where the students do peer mediation. I think it is a good idea. It lets you forget everything that is going on for a while and it relieves stress. RE: Peer Mediation by aNILEator on 02-21-2007 at 12:01 AM
that wikipedia entry was far too epic for me to even bother reading at midnight RE: RE: Peer Mediation by Supersonicdarky on 02-21-2007 at 01:33 AM
quote: RE: Peer Mediation by Lou on 02-21-2007 at 02:38 AM At the beginning of this year actually, our principal (like a headmaster for you people from the UK) decided to hire "peer helpers" and clearly specified that they were not tutors, but were there to help with personal problems. It was to be a private program, and it sure seems to have stayed that way because that's the last we heard of it. I'm sure it's there, because our main office has application forms but besides that, nobody knows much about it. I'm not sure how it works, but if it's this private, I'm sure it works well. We have Peer Mentors. I signed up to be one, only cause we get to get out of 5 hours a week of lessons. Plus at the meetings they give you loads of cake and cookies and stuff RE: Peer Mediation by Nagamasa on 03-01-2007 at 09:25 PM *bump* RE: Peer Mediation by High Speed Chaser on 03-03-2007 at 06:33 AM
