How to put sounds with quickteksts commands?

RE: quicktekst by Menthix on 02-21-2007 at 12:32 AM

But "/sound #XXXXXXXXXXX" (without the quotes) in your qiucktext. Replace XXXXXXXXXXX with the sound ID. You can fined the sound ID of your sounds in the Sound Library.

- Click on the Messenger Plus icon on your contact list
- Choose Sound Library
- Doubleclick on the sound you want
- It will now show the Internal Sound Identifier (sound ID), for example "#1EE3DE3BFDE6"
- Tho play the sound from the example in a quicktext, use "/sound #1EE3DE3BFDE6"

You can't put text after the sound command.

Either use just:
/sound #CA88F5DEB7BA

Or in the quicktext window choose the option "create multiple lines" and put it on two separate lines like this:
/sound #CA88F5DEB7BA
you're an angel

Last option means it will send two messages. It's not possible to do it in one message.

CookieRevised's reply to Custom Id#?
CookieRevised's reply to Link Custom sound to Word???
etc...

The syntax of the sound command is
/SOUND #<sound id>
or
/SOUND <sound name>

You can not add text behind that.

Quicktext can however contain more than one command and/or line.
So simply add the text you want to show as a first or second command.

Hi there
/sound #123456789012

or

/sound #123456789012
Hi there

Note: Tick "create multiple messages" in the quicktext panel
