I have a problem. Sinds i downloaded wlm 8.1 en plus live 4.2 (last week) i do not have that menu anymore above my nickname in my contactlist. I also do not have the tabs on the left side, and i had them yesterday. All these problems came sinds i donwloaded the newest version of plus and wlm 8.1. I have windows vista home premium.

How can i fix this?

Menu: Click the lil arrows top right and choose "show menubar".
Tabs left side: Tools > Options >Tabs...make sure the box "hide tabs" isn't ticked.

I found the menulist, thanks for that , but the tabs aren't still there and the box "hide tabs" isn't ticked.

Have you tried restarting WLM?
Is the space for the tabs there or nothing at all? (screenie?)
Did you patch WLM in any way (Mess Patch, A-Patch)?

ever day when i start my comp, messenger is automaticly starting. There is only one tab so far and that is the tab "show contaclist." And i cannot patch messenger because the newest patch isn't in dutch yet.

Ahh ok, that tells me enough. Tabs just aren't available for you/your location at the moment (serverside thing), no need to worry..they will reappear again when they are
