Hi!I have done this simple script to add some function to nudge
Initially i have added only one function because the only thing i wanted  sending nudges also to appearing offline contacts...Then i have added other functions...With this script you can:

-Send nudges to Appearing Offline Contacts(THIS FEATURE IS NOT PRESENT IN 1.35 VERSION,IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IN THE APPEARINGOFFLINE HELPER SCRIPT)
-Remove Nudge Delay(Send unlimited nudges)
-Send automatically nudges
-Send nudges even if you have unseletect the option "allow me to send/recieve nudges"(So you can't recieve nudges but you can send them)

How to Use this script:
-Enable or Disable it from menu

to send automatically nudges type in conversation
/sendnudge <numbernudges> <delay>    (for version 1.1 OR HIGHER )

NOTE THIS SCRIPT IS ONLY FOR WINDOW LIVE MESSENGER UP TO 14.0.8064.206

These scripts have a lot of potential. I've had the idea for a while now to create a large soft patch for Messenger .

Can I do /sendnudge 1000000000000 ? lol. Now that would piss somebody off. not me of course i have the shaking disabled.

i turned the reciving of nudges off but i still get nudged altough my screen doesn't shake

can the script be configered?
like to turn some features on or off?

sorry mmis understanding could have called it shake remover though exelent work btw
also noticed when you try and send a larger number of nudges they stop after a few and continue after a message is sent
not baging the script or your work but where's the fun in nudges now?

1235 is the revision number, not the build number. If you inlcude the revision number, you need to list 4 subnumbers.

I just installed the latest version of the script and when i try and send nudges it comes up saying command error.

it's late (i know...)   but  there's a bug...

when i import the script (it will be disabled as default) it allow me to send unlimited nudges...    and when i uninstalls, it continues allow me to send unlimited nudges

The patch could still be applyed, before the script was closed?

i didn't patch my wlm.. in fact, i finish installing wlm and NudgesToolsScript (latest version, the unique script installed in that moment)

i am using wlm 8.1.178, plus live 4.23.276, stuffplug 3.387 beta

everything i turn it on, but toast will display disabled and i cant nudge that often.

You have to enable it...Go to script menu--->NudgesToolsScript--->Enable

Those are the Plus! script preferences, not the script menu.

The script menu is the icon next to the Plus! icon in your main Messenger Window (contactlist).

Could this script be made compatible for newer versions please. I recently upgraded to Windows Live Messenger v 8.5.1302.1018 and was very dissapointed when i couldn't use the script. i get the message 'Nudges cannot be sent that often'

It would be geat if you could make this compatible with newer versions and many would agree with me.

I'm having a problem with my nudge script
I downloaded that update for version 8.5.1302.1018 but every time it pops a tost saying that nudge script is disabled I restarted it many times,tried in preferences and installed it over and over again,every time the same story(nudge disabled),still doesnt work =/

i got the script and typed in

and forgot the delay but it kept on sending and couldnt stop it so i had to sign out

however if i do /sendnudge 8 2  or something

it comes up with an error

this thing doesnt work on my WLM plus 8.5.1392.1018....its always getting disabled..after i active it, it says "nudge tools has been disabled" again and again..i think its a bug..some1 said it doesnt work on their 8.5.1392.1018 too right..i got the same prob as them..

Ok. I'm having a problem with this script, The /sendnudge <numberofnudges> <delay> dons't work.

It says "The command you entered was not recognize
              If this was not meant to be a command, insert a second "/" at it's beginning. Could someone pleas help me with this script?

(Thats 32-bit Vista btw)

When I enable this script in the scripts list i get an error saying that my version of messenger is not supported.

I'm on Vista SP2, the script loads, but there is no menu in the script dropdown (even though there should be).

I tried doing some hax and manually enabling it in the registry but I failed at life

I tried this new download with no success also.

Oh ok, So it allows me to send nudges to people that are offline, regardless of if they are just appearing that way, or really ore offline.

No, on my computer, I have that build of MSN, After I installed that script, I restarted my computer and when I signed in to MSN, It said: NudgesToolScript Stopped

Dear Guru, I have msn 14.0.8064.206, but after i install the nudge script, it always shows a toast at sign-in showing that "Windows Live Messenger 14.0.08064 is not supported", and i can't find the nudge script when i click on Scripts. However, if i go into plus! configuration i do see nudgeToolScript 1.36 running, and it actually works fine! (The delay is removed and /sendnudge works).

(The toast shows "14.0.08064", don't know if that's a problem or not .. )

The only problem is that I can't configure the script (enable, disable, etc.).

Also, i'm running Vista Home Premium (Chinese), WLM 14.0.8064.206 (Chinese).

I tried uninstalling the script (checked and it was deleted in \messenger plus live\scripts\) and reinstall it, didn't help.

Ok, so i test the problem a bit more and found out that this only happens when you sign out and sign back in (w/o closing WLM). But if you close WLM and restart WLM it doesn't happen (it toasts nudgescript enabled). Then again, if you sign-out and sign-in, it shows not supported.

iv installed the script and imported it and its ticked and it says its running but when i imported it, a little message at the bottom right in a box sed it was disabled so iv reinstalled Messenger Plus and the script and iv unticked and closed msn and still keeps poping up with it as disabling even when it still says its running in preferences? i need help plz

Go to the scripts menu (icon with three coloured cubes), then hover over NudgeToolsScript and click on "Enable", and there you go.

Moh Zayadi, no, he means disabling the message shown in the conversation when someone nudges him. This will not be hidden if you disabled "sending and recieving nudges".

This can only be hidden if you patch messenger.
(which could be done with a (advanced) script though).

Now I've read this thread quite a few times, and I still can not get it to work. It says it is not enabled, yet when I go to the Contact list and click the three blocks called plugins and i hover my mouse over NudgesToolsScript... there is no ENABLE, only DISABLE. Yet when I try to disable it nothing happens.

Any tips?

does anyone know why when i send a nudge it doesnt stop sending?
eg. i type: /sendnudge<2> and instead of only sending 2 it sends it non stop

From what I concluded, he uses Guru's script. So, if he disables sending and receiving nudges, people wouldnt be able to nudge him and thus the message will not appear. =p

Can the script be updated to the updated messenger 14.0.8089.726

are you sure it doesnt work with the latest build?
whats new in the new build of wlm anyway?

I'm sure it doesn't work and the main post states that it can only be used up to version 14.0.8064.206

There are only bug fixes in the new version

First of all thanks for the script
i was using an old version of msn and nudgestoolsscript, and now i had to change to newer msn (it wouldnt login otherwise). Cant this version of nudgestool send nudges to those who appear offline?

i guess its not present in 1.35 and all after that. :/

is there any way to disable the taskbar tab flashing when this or any script generate information in the chat window?  i dont want the tab ever flash for any event generated on my end, only when an event generated by the whoever i am chatting to


also can this script maybe include, as a toggled option, the ability to detect when text is sent by the other person?  would let a scenario such as /sendnudge 50 but stop at the tenth nudge if whoever i'm nudging said something

and along the same lines, maybe there could also be a nudge flood protection, that if someone send me 50 nudges and i want to quit getting nudged but dont want to talk, it could temporarily disable nudges with a configurable amount in a configurable timespan and stay disabled a configurable length of time

optionally maybe also temp block then unblock the nudging user

Before I start, let me just specify my specs:
Windows Live Messenger 2009 Build 14.0.8089.726
Windows XP Home Edition SP3
I guess the other specs are of no use to you, so let's start.

Every time I try to enable the script, Messenger Plus! Live, the latest version informs me it's running from the options window;



But I have repeatedly tried to exit messenger, log back in and then try to use it, disable it then enable it and more. Automatically, as I enable it, it disables itself as told by the Messenger Plus! Live event popup but also my tests on people. I have so far been unable to use it.

Can you help me out?

Well, It's a very nice script. I like causing "Earthquakes." However, the delay doesn't seem to work for me. Anyone know why? And, you should make it so it can even hit offline people. xP

Really bad, the last WLM version fucked up most best scripts.

Mine does work but i still cant send offline nudges! I use live messenger build 14.0.8089.726! my os is windows vista home basic SP2! Any ideas?

Hi, I am new to this forums.

After I reformated my computer, I had to download latest version 14.0.8117.416 and downloaded the latest version of Messenger Plus 4.9.
I also downloaded NudgesToolsScripts ( I had that before I reformated my computer and it worked so perfect!) but now, its not working and it says its not supported with the latest version of WLM?

What should I do?
I put enabled and so on.

I'd appreciate for your help.

Edit: P.s why theres no cam icons on WLM 14.0.8117.416? I cant see whether if my friends have a cam or not. No icons there... When my friends has one, it doesnt shown on MSN conversation even she put her cam public shown...?
