Yesterday I installed Msgplus for MSN 7.5. It seemed to be working fine until today I opened up msn and the usual Plus menu at the top wasnt there. I tried re-installing msgplus and the same thing happened after restarting my computer. It keeps disappearing =/  Has anyone ever encountered this problem?

The same thing is and has been happening with me and many of the people on my list.  It seems to be going on and off randomly.

Hmm.. maybe Ad-Watch is blocking it? Should i disable it or something ?

I have the same problem with my msgPlusLive.
After restarting my Computer msgPlus won´t work.
I have no idea what to do?!

Yes, i´ve installed SweetIM.
But i´m just using the conventional add-ones from the IE and Firefox.
I´m using also Ad Aware but i just can uninstal it.

I´ve uninstalled it and now it seems to work.

I have none of the programs mentioned here.  In fact, I don't even think I've ever heard the name Sweet IM.  But I do have the problem.  No Plus! menu, colours don't show up as colours, but as codes rather.  It's simply not there.  I've reinstalled both Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus!, restarted my computer obviously and... not sure what else to try.

Nope.  There's only one account on this computer.

Try installing Messenger Plus! in Safe mode.

Get into Safe Mode by pressing F8 as your computer starts up until you get a menu and one says "Safe Mode" and then once logged in safe mode, install it and then restart back into windows "normal mode" but just restarting your computer and letting it go through like you normally would. Then Log on and see if it worked.

Yes i have the same problem the plus icon on my msn live is not there when i've installed it on my computer

Did you try the safe mode instructions posted in the post above...I think maybe not.

Are you sure? because I think you didn't load into safe mode properly...you know if your in safe mode properly when you see safe mode on the 4 corners of the screen. So are you sure you loaded in safe mode and disabled all anti-virus and spyware programs just to be absolutely sure?

log into to what though? Messenger? Messenger Plus!'s Preferences? What password...saying "to log in" doesn't say too much

Use safe mode again to change it (Safe Mode -> Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts)

But i carnt because i've got 2 be loged in 2 get 2 user accounts     

Not if you use the account called "Administrator" to do it

but thats the one with the password on it and i dont no it     

Any other accounts? or find a way to get the password then. Otherwise we can't help any further.

Tried Safe Mode thing, that didn't help.  It is working now, I'll admit, but it's going on and off like usual.  It wasn't working an hour ago, then I exited and started again and now it's working.  It'll stop soon I'll bet.

Nothing was running in safe mode.

Is there nothing I can do about this?  It's now stopped working again...  I've restarted MSN a million times and rebooted the computer but it won't work.
