This script allows the user to choose up to 3 colours to be used for their messages.

How to install this script

  • Make sure you have Windows Live Messenger and the latest Messenger Plus! Live installed
  • Download the script, run MessageColouriser.plsc, accept the warning and press Import
How to use this script
  • Click on the Messenger Plus! Live Scripts Icon in your Messenger Contact list or Converstation window
  • Click on Message Colouriser -> Options to open up the options menu
  • Choose how many different colours you would like in your message by clicking the relevant radio button
  • To choose each of the colours, either enter a value into the textbox or click 'Colour' to open a colour chooser
  • After choosing the desired colours, click 'Save'
Extra Details
  • If you want one colour in your message, just choose a Start Colour
  • If you want two colours in your message, just choose a Start Colour and End Colour
  • If you want three colours in your message, choose all the three Colour

Nice script, however...

Suggestions:
- I think you should have 'First Colour', 'Second Colour' and 'Third Colour' instead of 'Start Colour', 'Middle Colour' and 'End Colour'.
- If you select '2 Colours', the 3rd should be greyed out, etc.
- An error message should pop-up if you don't choose the appropriate colours.
- If you select '2 Colours' but only choose 1, you get no error and your text appears with wrong codes.
- An option to disable the script, without having to go into Scripts Preferences (for an example, see CookieRevised's scripts.)

Thanks for the feedback. Ill update the script then ill upload it again.
