Dears,
I have MPL version 4.11.0.254, it was working fine suddenly i realised that all events of my contacts are not logging anymore. only the current user events are being logged. no configuration changes have been made since it was logging properly and today. any suggestions? thanks in advance

well i firstly siggest that you get the latest version of Msgplus (4.2) off the site.
then once you have the latest version, you can check that event logging is enabled/on by:
Prefrencees > Messenger > Event Logging
and making sure you havent made any filter adjustments etc..

Hi Fuse,
thx for your reply, i made a fresh installation of the msn live messenger and downloaded the latest Msgplus 4.20.0.262. The logging is enabled (come on) and no filters are set. The thing is, it was logging normaly and no configurations have been done and suddenly it stopped.
now even after installing v. 4.2 the same problem is there. it is logging only the current user events

Go to the Event Log window and see if all checks are enabled (especially the first one) in the options drop down button:
Options > Show General Information
Options > Show Personal Messages
Options > Show Current Media
As for the preferences (Plus! > Preferences > Messenger > Event Logging), it should be like this:
Display Event Viewer Window: Checked
Filters: - default value for new or unknown contacts: Enabled
- selection in list: all contacts should be selected!

Again, it was working, and no configurations have been changed. it stopped logging all of a sudden

Small additional question: did this happen after you came back from hybernation?
Because as of today, I experienced the same thing and it happened after I came back from hybernation...

i always keep my laptop in hybernation mode after i leave my office, but it is the first time that this happens, however i made a fresh installation and it didn't work even after that.
you won't believe it. it started to work again... without any changes. just came to the office today and here it is, working fine and logging all activities
very strange... i didn't know of any reason why that happened
