Microsoft started with Plus! in their product called Windows Plus!. It contained screensavers, themes, etc. I think that's where Patchou got it. RE: Can I use "Plus!"? by Discrate on 05-11-2007 at 11:34 AM The word Plus! isn't copyrighted, so i think you can use it.... RE: RE: Can I use "Plus!"? by vikke on 05-11-2007 at 01:16 PM
quote:Even if I can use it, I want someone to accept me. I don't think I just can take it and use it, even though it's copyright. Thanks for your reply. RE: Can I use "Plus!"? by matty on 05-11-2007 at 01:41 PM The word Plus! in conjunction with Talk isn't copywritten. The word Plus and or Plus! in conjunction with Windows and Messenger Live is copywritten. You are free to use it without infringing on copyrights however I would say for the sake of Patchou find another name you don't want people thinking he developed it to do you? On the other hand, it might be seen as a compliment to Patchou too... quote:It is your product though, so you might name it however you want despite what people think. But maybe you should mail patchou again (he gets a lot of emails and wont always be able to answer them and/or some might slip his attention and/or blocked by his spamfilters and/or whatever...)?
