How can i get a .avi file onto dvd? RE: .Avi by joey on 05-26-2007 at 08:37 PM
well im guessing that means, either there's no disc in the drive,or you need to set it where to look at correctly, or you're not putting a correct type of disc in...? RE: .Avi by absorbation on 05-26-2007 at 08:41 PM Is your drive a DVD drive? This is usually listed by Windows (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM) . RE: .Avi by prashker on 05-26-2007 at 08:41 PM
ConvertXtoDVD. Excellent Program, Nothing Better than it, takes around 1hour to do a full movie and its barely any quality loss . RE: .Avi by EBFL on 05-26-2007 at 08:41 PM

Hi all! RE: .Avi by Woraug on 05-26-2007 at 08:43 PM Have you tried using a +R or +RW? Some drives don't like the other kinds. Mine won't write to +R. RE: .Avi by ddunk on 05-26-2007 at 08:46 PM Or maybe, just possibly, it could be because he's using Windows CD Writing Wizard when trying to burn a DVD? RE: .Avi by prashker on 05-26-2007 at 08:48 PM

quote:Why would there be quality loss going from an AVI to VOB files? (Retail) DVDs are much higher quality than the AVIs recorded from them. (Try 4GB vs. 800MB) RE: .Avi by prashker on 05-27-2007 at 08:19 PM
quote: shush. I dont have logic against this. RE: .Avi by EBFL on 05-28-2007 at 03:37 PM Right, i got ConvertXtoDVD, and when it had finished, a box came up asking for a disc even though i have already put a blank disc in..How come? RE: .Avi by Dr4g0n on 05-28-2007 at 04:51 PM
