Have you got over a hundred contacts ? Do you care about all of them coming online ? not really. So we have the brilliant feature of just having select persons pop up, but I suggest integrating groups into the Events Notifications. That way it will be more dynamic so instead of manually having to add all new contacts to the login popup event, they would automatically pop up because they now belong to your Friends group or whatever. For me at least it would make a worthwhile MsgPlus upgrade : Þ

Damnit why is this feature not being recieved with open arms : ) I use notifications alot, and I add new contacts all the time. specific sounds for a certain set of people.. its a hazzle to do it manually for every new contact (or whenever you decide that certain someone isnt your friend anymore) : )
I hope somebody sees it fit to add this feature. cheers!

Simply put, as explained many times on this forum, Plus! cannot currently interact with groups.
