Error 80072efd by Fonger951 on 06-17-2007 at 04:47 AM

Just before we start...some ground basics about my problem.

I've searched the forums about the error, and i'm pretty sure i've tried most of whats been suggested. Feel free to add it again though, I might've missed it. And anyways, here's the background info.

I downloaded MSN Live bout a week ago. But once it finished downloading, when i tried to open it, i got the error. My MSN 7 was working perfectly a few minutes earlier.

Another thing i noticed is that it impacted my P2P software. So it might be a connection issue.

any ideas on how to resolve the issue?
thanks in advance

Have you tried resetting your modem (and your router)?

What does MSN Messenger's Connection troubleshooter say?

pick your words carfuly, you want to RESTART your modem/router, and your computer would be a good idea too, so just unplug the power cord from your modem and router for 10 seconds, then plug it in again, and let it start up, see if it works then

i used to do DSL tech support, nothing was more annoying then wen somebody tryed to solve they're own problem by resetting the modem with out know what to do:P

That's what happens when your watching footy, and trying to type at the same time :P

you could also try:
start>>run>>cmd
then type

code:
ping google.com -n 40
and see if you have any packet loss
