hello. after downloading new messengeri have a little bug. somehome i can't see my status anymore or others. it is just white. i have tryed to reinstall messenger few times, but nothing really helps

Just wondering have you coloured your nickname by chance?
have you used a patch which could have changed messenger e.g. Mess patch?
does it also do the same without messenger plus! live?

yeah. i used noname script once. if those are couloured?

i uninstalled messenger and scripts and messenger plus live few times ago so they are all gone. didn't even notice that bug at first time, when i upgraded my messenger to live. noticed it after installing again

ok so what your trying to say is that it doesn't happen when Messenger Plus! Live is not installed

it does..there is no matter if i have plus or not, it is still white

OK because it still does happen without messenger plus! installed, then I would try this. This will tell you how to do a clean install of Windows Live Messenger.
otherwise report this to Microsoft at http://support.live.com/eform.aspx?productKey=wlm...byemail&ct=eformts and remember to give as much detail as possible with screenshots and stuff.

This is not a conversation window.
As for the white information bar, that wouldn't nessecairly have showed your status or your contact's status, it could have been other things too.
So, the reason why it is white can be that there is some other info showing there (eg: other than a "your status is x") but that there isn't a resource for it. And that can be explained by a locked resource file when you installed the new version (and thus it couldn't be updated with the possible new resources) or if your Messenger resources are messed up in general.
To pinpoint the cause more and to try and figure out what the message would have been, can you answer all these questions:
1) What was your status at that moment?
2) What was your contact's status at that moment?
2) Did you bought credits to send mobile phone messages?

Important: if you experience something you think is a bug, and you do not have Messenger Plus! installed, or you experience the same bug when you uninstall Messenger Plus!, then it is NOT a bug in Messenger Plus! and it should not be posted in this subforum (which is for Messenger Plus! only!). Instead it should have been posted in the "MSN/Windows (Live) Messenger" subforum.

clean install did not work. it was just a sample conversation window. this white bar remains with every contact including myself.
1) What was your status at that moment?

I've had this happen to me before, see here.
But, no one was able to help, and for me, it will work most of the time, however there will be times when it will just be a white or grey bar (like your white bar)
Have you experienced like on my picture a contact's display picture coming out as a white box aswell?

no. display pictures are okay all the time. just this white status bar
