Hello again...
Ok first of I have only one partition om my hdd that is C: 250GB all of it
now I have two computers one at office one at home...
the office one running windows XP and home one running Vista
both have 95% same programs installed...
now XP is taking about 15GB of space and in my home Vista size is increasing every day...
a fresh install was 25GB (one or two GB more or less)
now today i noticed it is 49GB
any logical reson for that?
and will it keep on increasing like that?

Could you not find out what files are increasing in size?

Download a trial version of Spacemonger and use that to see what's taking up all the space.

Ok one thing I am not getting so I am attaching some pictures of it....
I right clicked on my hdd and then went to the tab called "Previous Versions" there are like 32 restore point there and when I click on each individual it open a diffrent folder in the same path ie " \\localhost\C$\@GMT-2007.07.01-10.30.01"
is this takinf up the space???
PLEASE SEE THE PICTURE...
note that the files path to both the folders open in the picture are diffrent also the space they are taking up

every day a new System Restore point is created automatically. system restore is limited to a max of 15% of your hard drive, and old restore points will start being deleted when that limit is reached to make room for new ones.

So it will be taking like 40-45GB of space... right?

if you have a 300 GB hard drive, yes.
