I bought a crossover cable to connect my laptop to PS2 for wireless connection but when plugged in all I get is the above message.
For ease of use I've connected it between two laptops but still the same message..
Any suggestions?

Ansette, have you tried using another cable? Perhaps (although unlikely) you may need a standard straight-through Ethernet cable rather than a crossover? Or, as xen0h said you may have a bad cable. If you can, try with another and see if the problem still occurs.

The PS2 doesn't have online games or internet
