WLM2008 not installing - Printable Version

it gives me this error, clicking ok opens some site in firefox that says i need IE5 or later, pasting the URL into IE6 does the same

Try installing this

i just got that and tried the install again and i still get the same

Hmm, weird indeed. Try installing with this.

This SHOULD work.

Have you tried what the notification says? Go to Windows Update and install all critical updates?

i got it working all fine and nice now after getting it from messenger stuff(it has a different installer) but the problem now is that i can't undo messpatch and i ticked some stuff i don't want
