When I try to sign in it says that it has something to do with my firewall.  I tried adjusting my firewall settings, that didn't work.  i tried turning my firewall off completely, and that didn't work either.  I even tried reinstalling, and that didn't work.


I looked on the WLM Support Site and there is not an extended error code that is the same as mine.


Error Code:80048820

Extended Error Code: 80048416

Does anyone know of a solution or something I could try to fix this?

1. Make sure the date and time are set correctly on your computer
2. Are you using any patches (mess patch/a-patch)? If so remove those and try to sign in again.

The date and time are correct, and I have no patches...

- Check your IE Security settings: open Internet Explorer> Tools > Internet Options > Advanced (tab).. verify that "Check for server certificate revocation" is unchecked and that "Use SSL 2.0" and "Use SSL 3.0" are checked
- Click Start, then Run, and type:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
click <OK>
do the same for these:
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 MSXML3.dll

Possible other fix/solutions:
- Upgrade router firmware
- Auto Tuning - TCP/IP receive level
