1. Yes I did try to search and it would not let me because add identity is too short RE: adding identity or changing identity by Nagamasa on 10-06-2007 at 12:38 AM
quote:If you mean identity as in Windows Live ID, then switching is simple: 1) Log off, 2) Click on the little arrow beside your WLID, and select Sign in with a different Windows Live ID. 3) Type in your WLID (i.e., billgates@hotmail.com), and your password. When finish click sign in. RE: adding identity or changing identity by ahmetgns on 10-06-2007 at 02:43 AM If you want to sign in with a different Windows Live ID without signing out first one, then you must use one of the programs which lets you start as many Messenger clients as you want. And here I must advice to you installing Messenger Plus! Live. Check the box in its preferences and then it'll let you run more than one Messenger client. quote:You must have used " " marks, for example: "add identity", though I don't think it is a good keyword selection RE: adding identity or changing identity by jimwww on 10-06-2007 at 07:21 AM thanks.. I did install Plus! but I do not see any extra 'preference box' in windows live. 'options' is there but I do not see anything under options that would let two identities run at the same time. quote:Click on "download" link at top of this page, then download Messenger Plus! Live and install it, then look for that option in Messenger Plus! Live's Preferences window. Messenger Plus! Live is an add-on for Windows Live Messenger. EDIT: quote:Start WLM like you are starting it for the first time. What were you doing to start it? Double click on its desktop icon, or click it on Start > Programs > Windows Live Messenger. Sorry for not giving these details, I thought sometimes that everyone is familiar with this add-on. Excellent - I did that and changed the preferences in PLUS! RE: adding identity or changing identity by Nagamasa on 10-06-2007 at 06:33 PM
